Porto Cristo, Mallorca: The best things in life begin when you meet the guy Omar. He’s from Morocco and he’s the kind of guy who can’t stop laughing all day, if you know what I mean. Well, we couldn’t stop laughing for a long time after we’d met him, so much so that we missed the last bus by two hours and had to take a taxi, which cost us you can guess what since it was night tariff and we were at the far end of the island from "home". Still, on our way, in Manacor, we stopped and got what we agreed was the best pizza ever – thin, crisp, with lots of Mallorcan chorizo, oregano and olive oil, and a bottle of cold white wine to wash it down with. Plus the cabbie played nothing but the Rolling Stones throughout the drive. Can’t ask for more really
